Learn more about bikes and how to fix them, get a job in the cycle industry and gain experience locally
OUR FAST TRACK PROJECT IS DESIGNED TO:
• Provide platforms to gain experience and qualifications in cycling
• Open pathways to employment, education or training
• Offer ongoing support to all registered participants
The aim of our programme is to provide a personalised, flexible package of support over 8 weeks to assist 8 participants per course. Participants must be aged 18 to 30 and unemployed.
Assistance within the programme will include employability and skills development, work experience and customer service. More specifically, this course will involve key project areas in;
• Bike Maintenance
• Bike Sales
• Recycling Metals
• Bike Leadership
HYPE Urban Bikes has been developed to bring communities closer together, through physical exercise and inclusion in a club. The aim of HUB is to create a sustainable, positive community activity that will bring people from all backgrounds, ability, gender and age together. We aim to make cycling cheaper, safer, more accessible and the natural form of transport.
